Policy StatementThis data protection policy is applicable to Explomo Corporation Pte Ltd (“ECPL”). The policy governs the collection, use and disclosure of personal data submitted to ECPL through this website. This policy explains how we collect and handle personal data of individuals and comply with the requirements of the PDPA 2012 of Singapore and its regulation(s).
We will collect, use or disclose personal data for reasonable business purposes only if there is consent or deemed consent from the individual and information on such purposes have been notified. Personal data will be collected, used or disclosed if it is required or authorized under applicable laws.
Collection of Personal Data
Personal data are collected from clients, business contacts, partners, personnel, contractors and other individuals. Such data may be provided to us in face-to-face meeting, forms filled out by individuals, email messages, telephone conversations or through websites or provided by third parties. We may keep a record of contact of individuals who contact us.
Personal data is collected when it is necessary for business purposes or to meet the purposes for which the individuals have submitted the information.
We will only collect, hold, process, use, communicate and/or disclose such personal data in accordance with this Policy. If any party is acting on behalf of a third party or as an intermediary or otherwise or providing us with information regarding a third-party individual, such intermediary must obtain consent from such third-party individual to the collection, processing, use and disclosure by ECPL.
Use of Personal Data
We will use the personal data for the following purposes:
- to provide our services
- to keep clients and other contacts informed of the services we offer, service offerings, industry development and other events ECPL is holding
- to maintain contact with clients and other contacts
- to respond to the request of the individual or for the purposes for which it was provided to ECPL as stated at the time of the collection.
- for general management and reporting purposes, such as invoicing and account management.
- for purposes related to recruitment, employment of our personnel and providing internal services to our personnel
- for purposes as required by the authority or applicable laws.
- for all other purposes related to our business.
Withdrawal of Consent
Upon reasonable notice given, any individual may elect to withdraw his consent to receive further updates and information from ECPL by contacting our Data Protection Officer or via email. We will inform the individual of the likely consequences of withdrawing his consent. We will also cease and also cause any of its data intermediaries, subcontractors and agents to cease collecting, using and disclosing the personal data unless it is required or authorized under applicable laws.
Disclosure of Personal Data to Third Parties
Personal data is disclosed to third party except required by law, when the individual’s consent or deemed consent has been obtained or in cases where third parties such as data intermediaries or subcontractors have been engaged by ECPL to assist with ECPL’s activities. Any such third parties engaged by ECPL will be bound contractually to keep all information confidential.
Personal data may be disclosed to companies within ECPL where it is necessary to meet the purpose for which such individual has submitted the information or to enable such individual to be provided with information at a later date which may be of interest and relevance to such individual based on the purpose of his voluntary request. All data in the possession of ECPL may be transferred to a successor-in-interest to ECPL’s business or assets.
Access to and Correction of Personal Data
We may upon request, provide the individual access to their personal data or other appropriate information of their personal data in accordance with the requirements of PDPA.
Upon request, we will make correction to an error or omission in the individual’s personal data in the possession or control of ECPL in accordance with the requirements of PDPA.
Accuracy of Personal Data
We will make reasonable effort to ensure that personal data collected by ECPL or on its behalf is accurate and complete.
Security and Protection of Personal Data
We have implemented generally accepted standards of technology and operational security to protect the personal data in our possession or under our control and to prevent unauthorized collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal or similar risks. Only authorized personnel of ECPL are provided access to personally identifiable information and these personnel have agreed to ensure confidentiality and integrity of this information. This Policy is also applicable to data intermediaries, subcontractors and agents.
Retention of Personal Data
We will cease to retain personal data, as soon as it is reasonable to assume that it is no longer necessary for any business or legal purposes.
Transfer of Personal Data Outside Singapore
When there is a need to transfer the personal data to a country outside Singapore, we will ensure that any transfers will be made in accordance with the PDPA so as to ensure a standard of protection to personal data so transferred that is comparable to the protection under the PDPA.

This Policy is also applicable to any personal data we collect via our websites.
